A florist is the latest business to join the award winning Wedding Services Scotland, which allows couples to find a host of industry experts and suppliers under one roof.
Posies and Pots, run by Karen Stellard, creates floral arrangements for any occasion working with its customers to bring their vision to life.
Karen set up Posies and Pots in early 2016 and since then has wowed customers from all over central Scotland with her unique and stunning flowers.
Now she joins Wedding Services Scotland based on Watt Road which also includes MET Wedding Cars, bridalwear by Enchanted Bridal, handmade stationery and wedding décor by Purple Willow, photography by Ramsden Photography, Candy Carts by it’s the Little things, Kimmy Cakes and many more.
Karen said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be part of Wedding Services Scotland. As a unit we supply expert advice for couples to help make their big day a little extra special. It’s literally a one stop wedding shop and helps takes the stress out of visiting lots of places.
“I also want to be known as a Hillington Park based florist. There is a real community feel around here and I would love to be the first port of call for those on the Park needing floral arrangements. We cater for every occasion as well as providing workshops for those keen to learn more about floristry.”
A Scottish Wedding Awards finalist, Karen, who fell in love with floristry while taking a night class for fun, has almost a full order book for this summer and is already taking bookings for 2018.
She added: “I love my job and whether its weddings, corporate, birthdays or anniversaries, I get so much pleasure from creating our floral arrangements. Running your own business is extremely hard work but when you’re doing something you love it is so rewarding.”
